Frequently asked questions
Everything about the editing process — and what to expect before sending your next video over.
Long-form YouTube content — talking head, commentary, video essays, gaming, documentary, and motion-graphics-heavy edits. If it's a 10–60 minute video meant to keep viewers watching, it's in my wheelhouse.
Reach out through the contact page with a bit about your video. I'll confirm the scope and send you a quote and deposit invoice. Once the deposit's paid I edit and quality-check the cut, then send it back for your review. You publish — that's it.
Usually 3–7 business days, depending on the length and complexity of the video. Need it sooner? Just ask — I can often make a tighter deadline work.
One-off videos start at $300 and are quoted per project based on length and complexity. For creators uploading consistently, weekly retainer plans start at $1,000/month. Full details are on the pricing page.
A 50% deposit gets your project started, with the balance due on delivery before the final files are handed over. Invoices are sent securely and are simple to pay from anywhere in the world.
Just share a link to your raw footage from Google Drive, Dropbox, or Frame.io — whatever you already use. No need to re-upload huge files somewhere new.
You'll get the first cut as a private link where you can leave timestamped comments on anything you'd like adjusted — no note is too small. I'll apply the revisions and send an updated version. 2 revision rounds are included.
Whatever's easiest for you — Discord or email. You deal with one point of contact (me) from start to finish — I run and quality-check every video personally, so there's no team to chase and no brief to repeat.
Yes — video essays and documentaries are a big part of what I do. I work from your script and bring the pacing, b-roll, and structure that keep viewers watching to the end.
That's exactly what the weekly retainer is for. You get a consistent style, guaranteed availability, and reliable turnaround every week, so you can stay focused on filming instead of editing.
Protecting your channel is part of the job. I use cleared, copyright-safe music, handle third-party footage transformatively for fair use, keep edits advertiser-friendly, and watch for anything that could trigger an age restriction or claim.
Still have a question?
Tell me about your video and I'll get back to you — usually the same day.
